HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Do not use moisturiser on your eyes before attending your eyelash extension apppointment. Make sure you remove all makeup, especially waterproof mascara and use only oil free makeup remover. This will guarantee the bond of the silk lashes to your natural lash. If you wear contact lenses prior to your appointment, bring your contact solution and carry case to store them during the application. Please do not make a booking if you have eye infections, had laser surgery or have had any eye cosmetic surgery until you have completely healed as the eyelash extensions may further irritate your eyes.

WILL IT AFFECT MY OWN LASHES?

When your Eyelash extensions are applied by a certified trained and experienced techinican, using individual eyelash extensions with minimal glue, your natural lash can grow normally underneath the eyelash extensions. If the eyelash extension applicator uses too much glue, this will clump the natural lashes together and refills cannot be safely applied. This will cause damage the natural lash, as this tends to eventually rip out the natural lash and cause irritation. If your eyelash extensions are irritating, they probably havent been applied correctly and need to be taken off before you end up with natural eyelash loss.

Your eyelash growth cycle is around 8 to 12 weeks so your natural lashes are continually falling out and being replaced by new ones. In the grafting process, the extensions can be placed on more mature lashes which will be the first to fall out. By properly maintaining your lashes (See Aftercare) you will only need refills every 2 – 3 weeks to always have long thick seductive Lusty Lashes.

CAN LUSTY LASHES EYELASH EXTENSIONS BE REMOVED?

Yes, your eyelash extensions can be easily removed using glue remover. The procedure takes around 15 mins to dissolve the glue from your lash. Never attempt to remove your own eye lash extensions as you may pull out your natural lashes.

AFTERCARE

It is important that you look after your Eyelash Extensions to ensure their longevity and to protect your natural lash.

Do not touch your lashes on the day of your application

Do not wet lashes for 24 hours after the application. You can still easily shower, wash you hair etc, just dont run your eyes under the water.

Do not use oil based moisturisers or removers on your eyelash extensions as it will break down the bond of the glue

Do not rub/tug at your eyes or use eyelash curlers

Do not use mascara on your Eyelash Extensions

Groom your eyelash extensions with your Lusty Lash brush, once a day, lightly to arrange your lashes. (Tweezers may help to position them as they grow out)

Lightly pat dry your Lusty Lash eyelash extensions after showering. The less you rub…. The longer your Lusty Lashes will last, which means less refills !!!
